Thao with The Get Down Stay Down stopped by the lounge at WOXY recently. After having missed them perform the night before in the newly renovated back room of the Northside Tavern, I’m really happy I decided to head down and shoot this performance.     aw, she was talking about her chefasaurus shirt to me the night before! definitely a trip.

    the whole vid is good, but i particularly love the crop on her barefoot-stomping at the end– a nice closing and is the quintessence of thao and her music. little moments like that make my heart flutter :)
