Oh, technology. As much as I love you, you really find a way to stress me out incessantly. As I was working on editing numerous videos, including The Turnbull AC’s footage from the Mad Hatter (same show as Wussy), my external hard drive that I kept most SCL content on died. Lucky for me, I guess, I have no sponsors breathing down my neck for consistently updated content. So I did what I do a lot, I let go and started fresh.I’ll be honest, I wasn’t really happy with the footage of Turnbull at the Mad Hatter. Their performance was great, and there’s a small snippet hidden in here still from it. But getting the opportunity to reshoot them at the Southgate House, well, 5 days ago, presented much better footage and sound.I think it’s safe to say that The Turnbull AC’s are a staple of the Cincinnati music scene. Disco Bomber is probably my favorite song of theirs, though it was somewhat coincidence that we shot this song. And what I’ve heard of their newest album should perk more ears to tune in. After listening to it constantly the past couple of days, I’ve been going to bed with the line repeating over and over and over in my head.”I’ll be the man you’ve always wanted.”I think I have more whiskey upstairs.-The editor
